#23 Alena Verbitskaia ve Berk Uslu, IDGK’den bahsediyor, hepimizin gözleri kapalı

Birlikte sevdikleri konserlere giderek başlayan arkadaşlıkları, bu konserleri kaydetme isteğine yol açmış ve İstanbul’un yeraltındaki bağımsız müzik sahnelerini arşivlemeye başlamış Alena Verbistkaia ve Berk Uslu’yla beraberiz. IDGK, Orhan Veli’nin İstanbul’u Dinliyorum (Gözlerim Kapalı) şiirinden gelen bir ilhamla sadece bir kayıt ve arşiv alanı olmaktan çıkarak bu işe gönül vermek isteyen herkese açık bir topluluğa dönüşüyor. Arşiv’in sıkıcılığında, görülmeyeni görünür kılan IDGK, aynı zamanda Utrecht’te düzenlenen Le Guess Who? festivaline bağlı Cosmos bağlantı alanında da Türkiye’den bir elçi olarak temsiliyet üstleniyor. Their friendship, which began with attending their favorite concerts together, led to a desire to record these concerts, and we are with Alena Verbistkaia and Berk Uslu, who started archiving Istanbul's underground independent music scene. Inspired by Orhan Veli's poem "I Listen to Istanbul (With My Eyes Closed)," IDGK is transforming from just a recording and archiving space into a community open to anyone who wants to dedicate themselves to this work. Making the unseen visible in the monotony of an archive, IDGK also acts as an ambassador representing Turkey at the Cosmos connection area of ​​the Le Guess Who? festival in Utrecht.
